In winter 2023, the Toronto Sign Reimagination Unit (TSRU) installed "Poop Zone" warning signs on Christie Street, near Christie Subway Station. This signs warned pedestrians of potential bird droppings. These signs feature a silhouette of a bird in mid-flight with droppings falling, accompanied by the cautionary message that passersby are entering a “Poop Zone.”
