Gallery 1065 Residency

Jode is currently the artist-in-residence at Gallery 1065, a new art gallery in Toronto’s Bloorcourt neighbourhood. The residency will allow him to develop some innovative programming during the gallery’s first year, and make some magic happen with the 15-foot storefront sign. Stay tuned for more fun.

In January 2025, local legend Martin Reis launched the Survival of the Friendliest project with a 15-foot scrabble-themed sign for Gallery 1065

Toronto’s new (un)official coat of arms

This new and improved coat of arms for the City of Toronto playfully was created for the first group show at Gallery 1065, playfully reimagining the city’s identity and spirit.
