This new and improved coat of arms playfully reimagines Toronto's official emblem and motto. While the current coat of arms features symbols like a golden eagle, beaver, and bear, this version swaps them for the true wildlife of the city: raccoons, pigeons and rats. It also updates the motto from “Diversity Our Strength” to a phrase that feels more fitting for life in modern Toronto—“Expect Delays”—offering a more accurate commentary on the city’s daily realities.
