A sign of things to come: Reimagining Gallery 1065's Light Box
In the heart of Toronto’s Bloorcourt neighborhood, the 15-foot light box sign at Gallery 1065 is taking on a new life as a canvas for artistic expression. Once the signage for a realtor’s office, this ongoing project will transforms the storefront fixture into an ever-changing statement.
Launching in winter 2025 with the inaugural message, “A sign of things to come. Also just a sign,” the project explores the interplay between art, public space, and everyday life.
Throughout 2025, the light box will host a rotating series of designs and text-based artworks, sparking curiosity among passersby.
